Cavernous:

This unique monochrome painting explores the suggestion of a cavern-like space through vertical layers of light and shadow. Tall, atmospheric forms rise through the composition, creating an impression of depth, enclosure and something quietly concealed beyond the surface.

The ambiguity of the forms allows the viewer to find their own interpretation. Light appears to filter through darkness, creating a contemplative atmosphere in which mystery and possibility exist side by side.

Cavernous is ultimately a meditation on entering the unknown — a space where darkness does not simply conceal, but also creates the conditions for light to emerge.
